With his second stage victory today after monday at the first stage à Rwamagana, Mekseb Debesay reached the record number of four stage wins at the Tour of Rwanda that he now shares with the American Keil Reijnen. "It’s not over, I still have three days to be the only record holder, he said. I feel really good in this Tour of Rwanda, the hard work begins from now."The Eritrean German Team Bike Aid expected today the last meters of the stage to try his luck in the sprint, which is one of his specialties.

Although this victory made no changes in the overall standings, the Eritrean gave an impression of strength and serenity and promises to be a formidable opponent this weekend for Rwandan riders who have yet controlled the bunch today.

The last three stages will be great appointments of the 7th edition of the Tour of Rwanda with long and challenging climbs to over 2,000 meters.

Everything will begin tomorrow with the 5th stage will lead the riders from Rubavu to Muhanga on the shores of Lake Kivu.
